We take your privacy and security very seriously.  For that reason, we have chosen to use PayPal for all checkout procedures. Paypal is preferred by more merchants than any other processor for the following reasons:

  • Safety and Security:  Your financial information is entered on PayPal’s highly secure site, meaning we never even see your financial information.  We work on bringing you great art history resources and leave PayPal to do what they do best – encrypting and securing your payment for ultimate protection.
  • Choice of Payments:  With PayPal, you can use your preferred payment method. All major credit cards are accepted, and for customers with a PayPal account, additional payment methods are available, including the “Pay Later” option.
  • No Paypal Account Required:  If you already have a PayPal account – great – just enter your password and fly through checkout.  No account?  No problem!  Just select the “Credit / Debit Card” option and pay without a PayPal account. Either way, you still receive the security and privacy benefits of PayPal checkout.

ADDITIONAL PRIVACY POINTS IN A NUTSHELL

The only personal data we store is what users have provided us with out of a contractual necessity to process and ship orders and keep customers informed.  This information includes names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, etc., but as noted above, does NOT include financial information.  We do not pass any personal information on to third parties unless it is absolutely necessary for completing an order — such as shipping (USPS).  You can update your data via your account settings at any time or contact us with questions through our online contact form.  We only retain data so long as it is necessary for processing orders and/or maintaining contact with customers regarding upcoming offers, etc.  By using this site, you are agreeing to these terms and the use of your data as noted above, and in more detail below.

We only collect such personally identifiable information as is necessary to complete online transactions. (An example of would be purchasing one or more products from the site). We will only disclose your personally identifiable information to a third party when it is absolutely necessary in order to complete a sales transaction, initiated by you on our website – and only when it requires the participation of a third party (such as a shipping provider). We never share email or other contact information with other individuals or organizations.

When we become aware of a product or an offer that we believe would interest you, we will contact you to relay that information. We NEVER request private financial information from our customers (such as credit card numbers) – see PayPal information above.
